Dolores O’Donnell, member of the Educate Together Board of Directors, will be taking part in a panel discussion at the Dublin International Gospel Music Festival this weekend at the National Convention Centre. Entitled “Religion and Education”, the panel, will discuss the role of religion in contemporary society, how Educate Together differs from other denominational models and how society can best move forward from here.
The Dublin International Gospel Music Festival aims to celebrate and support gospel music of all kinds and cultures, encompassing choral, rap, African, church, R’n’B and other sounds of gospel.The festival will feature Gospel musicians and singers from Ireland and abroad, and aims to open up gospel music to new audiences in Ireland, and also to act as a tool to promote integration.
The talk will be taking place from 10am-12pm at the National Convention Centre tomorrow Saturday 25th September.
