Minister of State for International Development and Diaspora, Neale Richmond TD visited Balbriggan ETNS recently to meet with 5th class pupils and hear about their learning through Our World Awards from Irish Aid. The pupils proudly shared insights from their studies and introduced the Minister to their project for Our World Awards 2025, which highlights their commitment to global citizenship and sustainability. Everyone was impressed with the enthusiasm and creativity of the pupils as they learned about Ireland’s international development work.
Reminder: Our World Awards 2025 closing date for entries is Friday, March 28th.
Shortlisted schools will be invited to the National Finals in Dublin this May. Overall School of the Year will win a STEM based Class trip.
