Educate Together acknowledges the pay injustice facing many of the country’s school secretaries and supports the campaign to address and improve pay and working conditions.
School secretaries are a valued and integral part of any Educate Together school community, and Educate Together supports their calls for respect and fair conditions from the State. Educate Together is heartened to see that the Department of Education is currently assessing the pay and working hours of the staff in question.
Educate Together hopes that the issue is brought to a fair and satisfactory solution as soon as possible, and encourages further dialogue on all sides in this regard.
