Both Swords Educate Together National School and Belmayne Educate Together National School feature on the RTÃ programme 21st Century Child.

Two of the stars of the programm, Shanessa Onafuwa and and Peter Heffernan started Junior Infants in Educate Together schools in September. Shanessa attends Swords Educate Together National School and Peter attends Belmayne Educate Together National School.
Peter's Dad, Richie Heffernan, said that he was 'blown away' by the Richie's fantastic experience of school so far!
The Onafuwa family in Swords Educate Together National School features in the the programme. In this series Shanessa Onafuwa, age 5, has successfully made the transition into primary school.
Filming took place over the course of a day capturing some special moments in the Infant Classroom. Shanessa has two older siblings Ogo who finished in Swords Educate Together National School in June 2012 and Fifi who is currently in 6th class.
The children in Shanessa’s class seemed to really enjoy all the attention and excitement of having a film crew in the classroom!
