You may have heard that the Department of Education and Skills has decided that Carrigtwohill, Co. Cork and Greystones, Co. Wicklow need a new national schools.
These schools are the subject of a 'patronage process' – which means that interested patrons must prove parental support by submitting Expressions of Interest forms from parents to the Department by Friday 20 March.
The existing Educate Together schools in Greystones and Midleton are heavily over-subscribed and we believe that both areas need another school to cater for parents who want choice in their children’s education.
If you live in either of these areas and want these schools to be Educate Together national schools, open to all children, irrespective of social, cultural or religious background, please fill out an Expression of Interest form for Carrigtwohill and for Greystones.
