We are delighted to welcome Dee Mangaoang back to the national office. Dee has taken over from Emer Nowlan as Chief Operating Officer for 12 months. Emer is taking a year’s sabbatical leave, and will return in December 2015.
Dee first worked with Educate Together from 2003-2006. During this time she initiated Educate Together's report to the UN committee on the elimination of racial discrimination, and presented the report in Geneva. Since 2006 Dee has developed her career in other NGOs, first with the Irish Red Cross and most recently with Medecins Sans Frontieres/Doctors Without Borders, working in Ireland and overseas. Dee is absolutely delighted to be joining Educate Together again.
Louise Daly, who manages the Governance and Patronage programme, will also be taking leave from December. We wish her all the best for her maternity leave.
