As patron, Educate Together gives approval for the appointment of principals, teachers and ANA/SNAs, admissions policies, use of school facilities by third parties, and schools generating a new stream.
Use of School Facilities
Schools who wish to give permission to third parties to use their facilities should follow the Guidelines on the use of School Buildings outside of School Hours published by the Department of Education. Consideration should be given to the impact that this would have on the day-to-day running of the school, legal arrangements, insurance, health and safety, and the future development of the school.
After consideration, the board should complete this form of agreement with the third party and then seek patron approval for the use by completing this JotForm.
Admissions Policy
All schools should have an Admissions Policy that is in line with agreed templates and has been approved by their patron. Schools who wish to review or amend their policy should request a copy of the updated Educate Together Admission Policy templates from admissionpolicies@educatetogether.ie.

You can find forms for patron approval requests for independent assessors, additional (special) needs assistant appointments and teaching appointments below. Please complete and submit the relevant form and we will email a response in due course. Please note: submitting the form is not a guarantee of patron approval and no approval is granted until you have received written confirmation.
